PBO REGISTRATION DISCLAIMER Upon deposit of the registration fee, Palos Baseball Organization, Inc. (“PBO”) agrees to provide my child the opportunity to play organized baseball during the 2026 Palos Baseball season. Having been informed of PBO’s intent to provide supervised baseball activities, and understanding that participation in baseball may result in serious injury and that protective equipment does not prevent all injuries, I/we, the parent(s) or guardian(s) of the registered child, hereby give permission for his/her participation in any and all PBO activities. I/we assume all risks and hazards incidental to participation, including transportation to and from activities during the 2026 season.
I/we further hereby release, absolve, indemnify, and hold harmless Palos Baseball Organization, Inc., its organizers, trustees, officers, managers, sponsors, volunteers, supervisors, and any other individuals appointed by them. I/we likewise release from liability any person transporting my/our child to or from PBO activities. I/we certify that my/our child is medically fit to participate in baseball activities and grant permission for PBO Directors, Trustees, Managers, and/or Coaches to act in their best judgment in any emergency requiring medical attention.
Refund PolicyI/we acknowledge and agree to the PBO refund policy for the 2026 in-house season:
Registration fees including the Field Days and Concession Stand volunteer deposit are refundable until December 31st.
Beginning January 1st, all registration fees and deposits are non-refundable.
A $50 refund is available if I/we secure a new $500 sponsor.
If I/we do not participate in a Field Day, Concession Stand shift OR secure a qualifying sponsor, we will forfeit the volunteer deposits, which PBO may use to support league operations.
Eligibility & Division PlacementPBO is a recreational baseball program offering the following in-house divisions:
Pinto: 1st & 2nd Grade
Mustang: 3rd & 4th Grade
Bronco: 5th & 6th Grade
Pony: 7th & 8th Grade
Freshmen Eligibility: A freshman in high school may play in the Pony division only if they do NOT participate on their high school baseball team.
If a freshman registers and later makes a high school baseball team, the player becomes ineligible for PBO and may receive a refund if PBO is notified promptly.
Registration System Note:If you are having difficulty registering for the correct division based on your child’s grade or age, it is likely due to system age-cutoffs coded into the registration platform. PBO can assist. Please contact us at
[email protected] for support.
Travel Baseball EligibilityPBO offers a part-time travel program, Palos Thunder. To be eligible to play for Palos Thunder:
The player must also play on a PBO in-house team.
Any player who participates on a full-time travel or another organized baseball program is NOT eligible to play PBO in-house baseball.
Conflicts With Other Sports or OrganizationsPBO reserves the right to cancel the registration of any player participating in another sport or activity that interferes with regular season or playoff baseball games.
PBO strictly prohibits any player from playing organized baseball with any other club, team, league, or organization during the PBO regular season. Violation may result in removal from the league.
PBO further reserves the right to suspend or expel any player, coach, or manager for conduct detrimental to the league as outlined in PBO Rules & Regulations.
Coaching, Umpiring & Volunteer SelectionI/we understand that indicating interest in being a manager, assistant coach, umpire, or field crew member on the Registration Form does not guarantee selection.
If selected:
I/we agree to participate in all PBO-required training, meetings, and coaching certifications.
I/we agree to complete a background check, and to provide any necessary information for that process.
I/we understand these requirements help fulfill obligations associated with PBO’s affiliation with the City of Palos Heights.
