2011 Cooperstown Team - Tournament

Palos Baseball Organization's 12u Palos Thunder Part-Time Travel team competed in a national tournament last week in Cooperstown, NY against travel teams from all over the country and Canada. 

The team played extremely well against tough competition making it to the final 16 teams in the tournament.  In the process, Palos beat full time travel teams from Illinois and several other states, hitting a total of 13 home runs along the way. 

The team members are:  Garrett Bartle, Trevor Bumsted, John Farano, Josh Gentry, Tommy Kaufmann, Brett Ladewig, Tim Ladewig, Jimmy Lee, Ryan O'Connell, Matt Padilla, Alex Tenuta and Matt Wantiez;  Scott Ladewig - Manager;  Asst. Coaches - Tim O'Connell and Mike Lee.
