Activities planned for Opening Day:
- The local Cub Scout Troop 3337 will be presenting the flag.
- The Palos South Middle School Band, under the direction of Bill Hansen, will play the national anthem.
- A short dedication ceremony for the new North field will then take place with a ribbon cutting.
- Windy City Thunderbolts Mascot, Boomer, will also make an appearance.
- There will be coverage by Channel 4, Palos Patch and TribLocal

Please come out and enjoy the day’s activities and see the changes to the ballfields:
- New bases on every field. Pinto, Mustang, Bronco and North all have the new Schutt beveled sliding bases and Pony has major league style “Hollywood” bases.
- Improved drainage was installed on the Bronco field and the area between Colt and Pony fields.
- Reduced prices in the concession stand. We found ways to lower our costs of goods in the stand so we reduced some prices to make it more affordable for our families. Team orders were also reduced 10%!
- Welcome Oh Boy Pizza and Vic’s BBQ to the concession stand.
