North Field Renovation: Over the last 6 months, PBO has been busy renovating our North Field. This was really a complete overhaul of the field. It started with the demolition of the old fencing.
Local architect and PBO dad George Madaras then got busy on our design. A special thanks to George for all his efforts and hard work.
The new field includes large brick dugouts with major league style benches, a brick wall backstop joining the two dugouts together. New taller backstop fencing to keep foul balls from going into the parking lot, fencing between the dugouts and the outfield to enclose the field, sprinkler system, new bleachers and LIGHTS!!
The infield was completely re-graded and new sod was put down. (The same sod they use on U.S. Cellular Field).
